Italian Biography
Gli Amorphead si formano nel 2007 in Italia a Catanzaro. La line-up ufficiale della band è composta da 5 membri: Emiliano Iozzo (voce), Alessandro Morrone (chitarra), Antonio Mazza (chitarra), Giorgio Faini (batteria) e Matteo Gregoraci (basso). Nel Gennaio 2009 il gruppo inizia la stesura del suo primo EP, il quale vede la luce il 26 Luglio dello stesso anno, prendendo il nome di “Psychotic”. Quest’ultimo viene recensito in molteplici parti del mondo (America, Inghilterra, Germania, Italia, Austria, Russia, Polonia, ecc..) riscuotendo un discreto successo. Nel Novembre 2010 gli Amorphead incominciano a comporre nuovi pezzi e nell'Agosto dello stesso anno entrano nel Sound Farm Studio (di GLK - Glacial Fear) ed incidono il successore di Psychotic: “Chaos Expression”. Intanto la band firma per l’etichetta inglese Casket Music, la quale produrrà e distribuirà il loro ultimo lavoro, in uscita agli inizi del 2011.
English Biography
Amorphead form up in 2007 in Catanzaro, Italy. The official band's line-up is formed by 5 members: Emiliano Iozzo (voice), Alessandro Morrone (guitar), Antonio Mazza (guitar), Giorgio Faini (drums) and Matteo Gregoraci (bass). In January 2009 the band begins the drafting of it's first EP, which sees the light of the day on 26th July of the same year under the name of “Psychotic”. The latter is reviewed in many parts of the world (America, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Austria, Russia, Poland, etc..) earning discrete success. In November 2010, Amorphead start composing new pieces, in August of the same year they enter the Sound Farm Studio (GLK's – Glacial Fear) and cut the successor of Psychotic: “Chaos Expression”. In the mean time the band signs for the English label Casket Music, which is manufacturing and releasing their last work, out in early 2011.
